One day, still on my Brussels internship, I visited my friend Anna. She worked the night-shift and nothing was going on. We sat down at one of the tables in the lobby, got some coffee and company from another French speaking colleague of hers. We talked about many things of minor importance, among others cartoons. I like cartoons. That’s actually what I wanted to say. What I did say, however, was the following: “J’adore les deux seins animés.” – which is more like “I love animated boobs.” Oooops….
